Walking Trails

The FHNA has raised money through fundraising and grants to construct a walking trail around Forest Hills Park. The final location of the path is still under consideration, but the goal is to make it easier fro residents of all ages to walk inthe park, especially in areas where mud is a consistant issue.

The physical dimensions and composition of the path itself will need to comply with the City of Durham's specifications for paths in city parks. This specification calls for a surface of packed gravel.
